THE ENFIELD POLTERGEIST REVISITED

284 Green Street, Enfield, London - 1977

In 1977 strange events ocurred in a council house in Enfield, London, the home of divorcee Peggy Hodgson 47 and her children Margaret 13, Janet 11, Johnny 10 and Billy 7. Strange noises were heard, furniture moved on its own, the girls were thrown out of bed by useen forces, and finally an entity spoke through Janet identifying himself as a previous occupant of the house. Photographed by the Daily Mirror and investigated by the Society for Psychical Research the case became a cause-celebre, and is recognised as the best documented poltergeist case.

This is an investigation into the identity of the entity which called itself ‘Bill Wilkins’
